Nominating Outstanding Young Educator Award

ASCD is now accepting Outstanding Young Educator Award nominations for 2013. The 2013 award application period will close on August 1, 2012. The 2013 Outstanding Young Educator Award will be presented at the 2013 ASCD Annual Conference.


Before beginning the nomination process, please review the nominator and candidate eligibility requirements.


Nominator

  • A nominator must be a full-time PreK-20 educator.
  • A nominator may work with the candidate to complete the application.

Nominee

  • A nominee may not be older than 40 years old as of Saturday 16 March 2013.
  • A nominee must be a full-time preK-12 educator.

While teachers and administrators both exhibit leadership qualities, ASCD recognizes that their responsibilities and paths of leadership may be fundamentally different. As a result, there are two award categories Teacher and Administrator, the award category is selected by the nominee’s job title as entered in the application below.
